Introduction: As people age, the risk of injury or death from choking and aspiration increases. The purpose of this program is to help caregivers of older adults prevent choking and aspiration. Objectives: At the end of this course, you will be able to: - Recognize choking hazards;
- Remove choking hazards from the environment;
- Prevent choking by increasing the level of assistance when needed; and
- Teach choke prevention practices to caregivers and older adults.
